About Trillian Trust
Trillian Trust Limited was formed to provide support to other New Zealand based charitable and not-for-profit organisations through grants that benefit your local community.
To generate the necessary funds in order to support your community, we obtained a licence to operate gaming machines in licensed venues across New Zealand. This allows us to distribute the Net Proceeds from the gaming operation to successful grants applicants.
As an independent boutique gaming operator, we pride ourselves on consistently providing high quality service to our licensed venues. With the support of our venues together we are providing a safe environment for entertainment, which allows us to give back to organisations that benefit communities throughout New Zealand.
Responsible Gambling
Gambling is a legitimate form of entertainment that, when not enjoyed sensibly, can harm a small number of players. Trillian Trust takes our responsibility of minimising harm seriously, and we work closely with venues and venue managers to ensure that staff are trained adequately in order to identify problem gamblers and offer available assistance
Knowing the Signs of Problem Gambling
These can include:
- Length of Play – Too much time spent gambling
- Complaints about losing
- Negative behaviour - Rude to staff and other customers
- Gambles winnings
- Gets into debt – borrows money to play
- Visibly stressed, agitated or frustrated
- Leaves children unattended in the car to play
